Myth busting: social media edition #️⃣
A myth you should stop believing...content pillars are bad.
Myth: Debunked. 🧐
I keep seeing posts saying content pillars are too restrictive but the truth is, when built correctly, they actually give you more creative freedom, not less.
Content pillars are only bad if you refuse to build content that ladders into a broader strategy and goals or if you aren’t able to define your social strategy.
With the right structure, content pillars help you test, learn, and adapt with intention. They anchor your messaging and make it easier to measure what’s working, without reinventing the wheel every time.
Sure, they might not work for people living that trend chasing, unhinged content life. But for most brands, they’re an essential foundation for a sustainable, goal-driven social strategy.
How do you feel about content pillars?
